can race too! We now have rental cars for most of the
classes we run.
We have 1/32 magnet cars, TSR cars, 4inch FlexiFalcons, womps, Indy
cars that you can rent for the races. The rental cost is $5.00 for both
car and controller. This cost is in addition to the race
entry fee. Sufficient driving skill is required to rent the cars and this
will
be determined by the owner. This condition applies only to actual races.

Slotcars & Raceway for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. The
winnings are in the form of "FunTime
Funny Money". These winnings can be used on anything in our store with the exception of paying for another race. |

ANNOUNCEMENTS!
We
are adding a new 1/32 class to Friday night racing!! It is a Slot-it
stock class. This will give our younger racers and older racers an
opportunity to race each other on an even grounds. Starting Saturday May 15th we are going to begin racing the "F"class wing cars!! These
are brass & steel chassis cars with Falcon 7 motors. For you folks
that have that "Need for Speed" gene these are a great way to get to
the next step in racing without spending a bundle. We will begin at
noon and the track opens at 11:30 for practice. Do you know someone who races slot cars? Is it their birthday, Father's Day, Mother's Day or just time to give a gift? But you do not know what to get. Try a FunTime Slotcars & Raceway gift certificate!  ARE YOU NEW TO SLOT CAR RACING or HAVE YOU BEEN AWAY FROM SLOT CARS FOR SOME YEARS? Check out what is going on now! Here is a quick run down! The 3
most common scales for slot cars are, HO with the cars about 2" long,
1/32 with the cars about 5-6" long, 1/24 with cars about 7-9" long. We
race 1/32 and 1/24 scales here at FunTime
Slotcars & Raceway. The 1/32 scale cars generally have a hard plastic body and are very realistic looking. The 1/24 scale cars generally use light weight lexan bodies and are somewhat less realistic in appearance. In each scale there are "classes" determined by things like body style, weight, motor type, and chassis type. These "classes" all have their own set of specifications just like real race cars. These are most important for racing fairness and fun. If you live in an area with more than one Slot Car Track then you may want to see what is unique and what is the same between the rules and specifications of the track. This way if you plan on racing at more than one track your car may qualify at any of them. Two last things before ending this short overview: First, check out the website of your local track(s). They have information on their racing programs, track and other things of interest. Second, while online shopping looks like a money saver, and it may be, be sure you include shipping and/or taxes into your considerations because they often take the actual online price up to or above what you can get from your local Slot Car or Hobby store. night, a stock Slot-it race and either a no magnet race or a magnet race with a max of 310 grams.

We No Longer Accept Credit & Debit Cards
Due
to the very high cost associated with credit and debit cards we have
decided to stop accepting them so we can keep our prices for everyone
down. In the future we hope to re-establish this service as sales
volume justifies it.
