His Lap Time was 4.855 seconds on the 137' Hasse Hill Climb Track!
Now that Paul Kassens has broken the 5 second mark it seems that it is coming into sight for other racers as well. While Paul still has the fastest time, by 5/1000s of a secon, Raymond Batchelor has also now broken 5 seconds 3 times and other racers were within a hare's breath duplicating the effort!

LMP

Instead of pictures of drivers and cars at the starting line I thought I would show you the finish. The 3 drivers, Jim Radford (purple car), Raymond Batchelor (copper colored car), & Sloslot (red car) had a great race. Sloslot finished about 1 foot ahead of Jim with Raymond just 1 lap behind. This was out of 250 plus laps. I am telling you this is tons of fun!!!!

These cars are extremely fast and a blast to race. They are simple cars and inexpensive as compared to the higher end cars, yet they consistently run in the mid to low 5 second range and even into the 4's on FunTime's 137' track on any lane. In addition no special controller is needed to compete with these cars.

This racing was sooo fast. The cars consistently ran in the mid to low 5s. The competition was excellent! Truly, no one is dominating any of our Saturday races and well over 200 laps were scored by ALL!

New Class
We started a new class of racing in 1/32 on Friday. It is Slot-it Stock out of the box. We will allow a guide for wooden tracks and any motor that will fit in the standard pod up to 36k, HOWEVER, the gearing must remain stock.

This means all the kids who normally come out on Monday/Tuesday can come on Friday instead (this race will be first) and race against evenly matched cars
